December has arrived!    I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends.  Did you hit the stores on Black Friday?  Did you wait in line for hours?  Not me.  I am not brave enough to go shopping that day.  (Although, I did run into Rite Aid for milk!)

I really enjoyed my Black Friday this year, I used it to get a jump on my holiday baking.  I like to bake a lot of different kinds of cookies, so I try to start early and stock my freezer with them.  I also got a chance to enjoy the opening night of the Christmas lights at the square in Strongsville, and went on a sleigh ride.  We ended the day with a family game night. 

The one thing I didn't really do on Friday, was clean the house.  I don't host Thanksgiving at my house, so although I always help a lot with the clean up on the day, I don't have any "afterwards" to clean up from on Friday.  Since it wasn't at my house, I didn't have to go around looking for spilled cranberry, gravy or wine stains.  If you read my note last month, you might remember that those are 3 things that can really cause your carpets grief.  Make sure you check your carpets for spills and stains.  The quicker they are treated, the better they will look.
